RODERICK BYINGTON ANDRESS, son of Peter, was born 17 May 1826 in New Jersey. He died 10 Jan. 1907 in Blairstown, Warren County, NJ and was buried in J.I. Blair Cemetery, Blairstown.
Roderick married Huldah Jane Lanning on 01 Jan. 1851 in Hope, NJ. Huldah was the daughter of Isaac Lanning and Hannah Ann Anderson. She was born 13 Jan. 1832 in New Jersey. She died 05 Dec. 1916 in Blairstown and was buried in J.I. Blair Cemetery.
Roderick and Huldah Andress had the following children:
I. ISAIAH PRESTON ANDRESS was born 02 Jan. 1852 and he died 22 Aug. 1909. He married Isabella ca. 1873. She was born in Oct. 1855 and she died 21 March 1885. They are both buried in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Jacksonburg, Warren County, NJ. They had the following children: (1) Frank L., born 03 Feb. 1874, died 14 May 1900; (2) Clarence Sumner, born 27 Oct. 1875, died 29 April 1941, married (1st) Cora Shaffer, she died 09 Jan. 1920, m. (2nd) Marie Peiffer; (3) Edith, born in 1879, died at age 12, in 1891; (4) William, born ca. 1880.
II. JOSEPH CLARK ANDRESS was born 04 Oct. 1854 and died 04 Aug. 1938 in Newton NJ. He was Sussex County Sheriff from 1897 to 1911. He married Mary Lydia Elmira Edgerton ca. 1882. She was born 28 Feb. 1857 in NJ. They had the following children: (1) William Roderick, born 31 July 1884, married Murtice Cole Philips, children: Huldah J., born 08 Jan. 1906 & J. Clark, born 17 July 1909; (2) May, born 12 June 1887; (3) Kate Poole, born 04 July 1889, married Mr. Anderson.
III. HANNAH ANDRESS was born 22 Aug. 1856 in Blairstown and she died, at age 5, 26 May 1861. She was buried in J.I. Blair Cemetery.
IV. HULDAH J. ANDRESS was born in Nov. 1858 in Blairstown. She died, unmarried, after 1920.
